Located in the Ankole – Masaka corridor in western Uganda (About 4 hrs drive from Kampala), lake Mburo national park is one of the coolest parks in the country where you get closer to wildlife during the game drives, guided nature walks, horseback riding and cycling experience. During this 03days safari, you will have a great experience in the wilderness with perfect opportunities of taking as many pictures as possible.

Itinerary

Day 1: Depart from Kampala to Lake Mburo National park (04 – 05hrs drive)

After your breakfast, you will set off from Kampala to Lake Mburo national park. En route, you will stop-over at the Equator for an experience, thereafter proceed into the park arriving on time for lunch. You will thereafter go for sunset game drives in the afternoon looking out for several animal species such as zebras, buffaloes, elands, impalas and many more. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Eagles Nest Lodge (FB)

After breakfast in the morning you will go for a game viewing experience in the park looking for its residents. Later in the day, you will head back to the lodge to enjoy your lunch and a short relaxation. After lunch, go for a boat trip on which you may see a lot of water birds like Carruther’scisticolas, strange White WingedWarbler, Bare-faced Go-away bird and Brown-faced lapwing and many more. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Eagles Nest Lodge

This day you will set off for the early morning guided nature walks for a close up experience with wildlife ideal for photography. You will thereafter return to the lodge for refreshing before being transferred back to Kampala/ Entebbe international airport.
End of safari
