A safari experience to Queen Elizabeth National park and Bwindi Impenetrable national park is a perfect experience that you need to try out.

A combination of a game viewing experience, a rewarding boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and the tree climbing lions, winded up with the rewarding Gorilla tracking experience is just perfect and will quench your dream for adventure.

In this safari package, we take you for the game viewing, chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge and Gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

This day upon arrival to Uganda, you will meet our safari representative at Entebbe International airport who will welcome you and thereafter transfer you to Airport Guest House Entebbe for an overnight stay on Bed and breakfast basis.

This day after breakfast, you will prepare for a transfer to Uganda’s finest safari destinations, Queen Elizabeth national park.

This park is blessed with abundance of wildlife ranging from several animal species to a variety of bird species, beautiful land-scape and scenery. You will have several stopovers on places of interest and for lunch/ refreshing, thereafter proceed into the park arriving later in the evening.

Accommodation will be at Bush Lodge Banda, Full-board basis.

This will be a very busy day in Queen Elizabeth National park. After breakfast, you will depart from the lodge well equipped with your packed lunch and well set for the chimpanzee tracking experience at Kyambura Gorge. Upon arrival here, you will be briefed by your ranger guide on how the whole process will be conducted, thereafter get into the forest in search for man’s closest relatives, the chimpanzees.
You will thereafter proceed for the afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and later in the evening, have sunset game drives in the park as you proceed for dinner and overnight stay at Bush Lodge

This morning, you will prepare to depart from Queen Elizabeth National park and thereafter proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable national park, a home to the rare mountain Gorillas where you will have a rewarding Gorilla tracking experience. En route to Bwindi, you will pass via the remove woodland Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park. You will have a short game drive here; thereafter proceed to Bwindi for dinner and overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla camp (FB) 
  • Distance: Approx. 50 km (1 hour)
  • Destination: Bwindi forest
  • Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla camp
  • Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
The long-awaited day is finally here. This day will be for the memorable Gorilla tracking experience. You will depart from the lodge after breakfast and well equipped with your packed lunch, thereafter proceed to the briefing area. Here, you will be allocated a ranger guide who will brief you on how the whole process will be conducted, thereafter lead you through the Gorilla trails in search for the gentle giants. Once you meet the Gorillas, you will have an hour with them taking as many pictures as possible as you get entertained by the gorillas at a closer range. Later in the afternoon, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla camp.

  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
This day you will prepare for a long drive back to Entebbe, about 09 – 10hrs from Bwindi. You will have a stopover in Mabarara town for lunch, thereafter another stopover at the Equator before proceeding to Entebbe for your evening flight.
