In this safari package, we will take you to Kibale forest national park for an encounter with the Chimpanzees as well as several other animals and bird species; Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the rare mountain Gorillas and a taste of the African cultures with the indigenous Batwa communities. In Lake Mburo national park, you will have the game viewing experience during the sunset game drives, and a guided bush walk for a close-up experience with wildlife.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
This day marks the start of your Uganda safari experience. Upon arrival to the Pearl of Africa, you will meet our safari guide who will welcome you and thereafter transfer you to Airport Guest House for an overnight stay (Bed and Breakfast Basis).

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast at your hotel, your safari guide will be ready to take you on a scenic 7-hour drive to Kibale Forest National Park.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy stopovers for refreshments and photo opportunities, offering a glimpse into Uganda’s beautiful countryside as you make your way to the home of man’s closest relatives—the chimpanzees.
Upon arrival at the park, you’ll check in at Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and an overnight stay on a full-board basis.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetlands Walk
After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll head to the Kanyanchu briefing area for your chimpanzee tracking experience. A trained ranger guide will be assigned to lead you through the forest, where you’ll have a chance to encounter chimpanzees along with various bird and primate species.
In the afternoon, enjoy a traditional African lunch at Tinka’s homestead, followed by a guided bird-watching walk through the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary—home to rich biodiversity and vibrant local culture.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 4: Scenic Crater Walk & Journey to Bwindi
After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll set out on a morning community walk around the edges of Kibale Forest.
The walk takes you through local homesteads and vibrant food-crop plantations, offering a glimpse into daily life in the region. You’ll then hike to the nearby crater lakes, where you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding communities and the majestic Rwenzori Mountain ranges.
After the walk, you’ll continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park—home to more than half of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla population. Upon arrival, you’ll check in for dinner and an overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Camp on a full-board basis.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Experience
The long-awaited day is here! After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you’ll proceed to the park briefing area.
Here, your assigned ranger guides will walk you through the tracking process before leading you deep into the forest in search of the gentle giants—mountain gorillas.
Once located, you’ll spend up to one unforgettable hour in the presence of the gorillas. This is the perfect time to observe their behavior and capture as many memorable photos as you can.
After the trek, you’ll visit the nearby Batwa community for a cultural experience. Known as forest dwellers, the Batwa people will share their traditional lifestyle, music, and stories—offering a glimpse into one of Africa’s oldest surviving cultures.
In the evening, return to Rushaga Gorilla Camp for dinner and an overnight stay. (Full Board)

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You’ll begin the day with a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, known for its scenic landscapes and rich wildlife. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park as the sun sets—an ideal time to spot animals like zebras, impalas, elands, and buffalo.
Later, take part in a guided nature walk for a more intimate, on-foot experience with the park’s wildlife and ecosystem.
In the evening, you’ll head to **Eagles Nest Lodge** for dinner and an overnight stay on a full-board basis.

Day 7: Morning Walk, Return to Entebbe
This marks your final day in the Pearl of Africa, following unforgettable encounters with chimpanzees, mountain gorillas, and a rich variety of wildlife and bird species. Your safari ends on a memorable note at Lake Mburo National Park.
You’ll depart early in the morning for a guided walking safari, offering close-range views of giraffes, zebras, elands, kobs, buffaloes, and more—an excellent opportunity for wildlife photography in a serene, natural setting.
After the walk, return to the lodge to freshen up and prepare for your journey back to Entebbe. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our office representative for a brief experience review and a hot lunch, before proceeding to the airport for your outbound flight.
