Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our safari guide will be there to greet you and transfer you to your hotel.
After check-in at Airport Guest House, you will receive a safari briefing. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an optional tour of Entebbe, visiting a local fishing village, bustling market, and craft shops.

Day 2: Travel to Kibale Forest – The Primate Capital
After breakfast, set off for Kibale Forest National Park, a renowned haven for primates.
The scenic 7-hour drive takes you through rolling hills, lush countryside, and vast tea plantations, where you can stop for a photo break. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and relax in the tranquil forest surroundings.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. Accompanied by a ranger guide, enter the dense forest in search of these playful primates. Along the way, spot colorful birds, butterflies, and other wildlife.
In the afternoon, enjoy a traditional Ugandan lunch experience, where you will learn how local dishes are prepared before savoring a delicious meal. Later, take a guided nature walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to diverse bird species and primates.

Day 4: Crater Lakes Hike & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic crater lakes walk, passing through local villages and terraced farmlands. Hike to the “Top of the World” viewpoint for breathtaking views of the crater lakes and the distant Rwenzori Mountains.
Later, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most biodiverse park. En route, visit the Katwe Salt Lakes, where local communities have been harvesting salt for generations.

Day 5: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Head out for an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime spot for spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs. Keep your camera ready as the golden sunrise illuminates the vast savannah.
In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, a waterway teeming with hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species. Elephants and buffaloes often gather along the shores, making for incredible wildlife sightings.

Day 6: Journey to Bwindi via Ishasha – Home of Tree-Climbing Lions
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the remote Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This region is famous for its tree-climbing lions, which can often be seen resting on fig tree branches. Keep an eye out for other wildlife before continuing to Bwindi, the home of Uganda’s endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Today is the highlight of your safari! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing.
Accompanied by expert guides, hike through dense jungle terrain in search of a gorilla family. Once you find them, spend an unforgettable hour observing their behavior and capturing incredible photos.
After the trek, return to your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening in the rainforest.

Day 8: Return to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, passing through the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda. Stop in Mbarara for lunch before continuing the scenic drive. Arrive in the evening, marking the end of your incredible safari.
