Kenya,
Beyond the Parks

Private journeys shaped around Kenya’s wild, people, culture and coast — with the option to experience the rest of East Africa when you want to go further.

We Go Deeper

The best of Kenya isn’t always found on a checklist.

It’s a quiet morning in the bush. A conversation with someone who knows the land. A road taken simply because it looks interesting. A long lunch. A night under an open sky. More time in a place because you don’t want to leave.

That is how we think about travel.

We build private, tailor-made journeys around the things that make Kenya worth crossing the world for. And when the journey calls for more, we take it further.

We Know When to Go Further

Sometimes that means choosing a conservancy where you can leave the road and stay with a sighting rather than follow the vehicles around you.

Sometimes it means knowing that the beautiful beach on the map isn’t worth adding if getting there costs you a full day — and knowing which connection gets you there without losing one.

Sometimes it means knowing who to call. A Maasai guide you’ve worked with for years. A Samburu family who genuinely welcomes visitors. A place where the experience exists because there is a real relationship behind it, not because it appears on an itinerary.

And sometimes it means going beyond Kenya altogether — into Tanzania, Uganda or Rwanda — because that is what makes sense for your journey.

We start with a conversation, not a catalogue. We listen to how you want to travel, then bring together the right places, people and experiences to make the journey yours.

The Difference is in The Decisions

We’ve been planning safaris from Kenya since 2016.

Over the years, we’ve built relationships with the camps, conservancies, guides and local hosts who shape the experience on the ground.

That experience shapes the decisions we make for every journey — which conservancy suits you, which camp is worth the extra drive, when to leave the Mara, whether the coast works with your flights, which guide to request, and whether extending the journey into Tanzania, Uganda or Rwanda genuinely adds to the trip.

Awesome Safari with Khanga!

Oliver

Amazing experience with an expert guide.

The safari experience from start to finish was utterly faultless. Communication between us and the operators was smooth an all questions were answered efficiently. They went out of their way to help us out when a few unforeseen circumstances occurred with participants. The safari itself was simply amazing. Seeing the wild animals up close was an experience money can’t buy. Our local guide, Benson’s, knowledge of the Masai Mara was extraordinary. He knew where every animal would be and thought us so many things about the history of the park and what the future entails. The hotels that we stayed in were state of the art with excellent bedrooms and dining facilities along with very friendly staff.

I would highly recommend Khanga Safaris to anyone thinking of going on a safari in Kenya.
